Meet Jesse

At Pivotal Painting, LLC, our story begins with a passion for craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for hard work. Growing up, I spent weekends working alongside my dad, a skilled brick mason, who introduced me to the various trades in construction. One memorable project—a stunning river rock fireplace—caught the attention of the homeowner. Impressed by my dedication, he offered me a job at his local painting company. That opportunity, nearly 20 years ago, sparked a lifelong career in painting.

Owning a painting company has always been a dream of mine, but the timing never felt quite right—until I met my wife, Amanda. Both of us are proud Pacific Northwest natives with big dreams. In 2017, we welcomed our first son, Finley, and by late 2018, our daughter, Sawyer, joined our family. With their arrival, we realized there was no better time to take the leap and build something meaningful.

In January 2019, Pivotal Painting, LLC was born. Amanda now manages our office operations and HR, ensuring that our talented crew is supported every step of the way. Together with our dedicated team, we’re proud to bring high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a personal touch to every project.
